Before starting work as a lawyer, Aysha spent a decade working as a legal assistant and paralegal with the Tasmanian Department of Justice in the Magistrates’ Court criminal, civil and coronial division and Legal Aid Commission. Aysha enjoyed working at the Court and the Legal Aid Commission – and is enjoying the opportunity to apply her extensive procedural knowledge and experience to her work in different jurisdictions. Aysha joined McLean McKenzie & Topfer in November 2020 and works in the litigation team. With the other litigators at MM&T, Aysha works in:

Aysha is a member of the Law Society Litigation Committee. In her spare time, Aysha enjoys spending time with her two daughters, kayaking and mountain biking with her family and friends. Aysha also enjoys reading, and boxing to help her unwind after a day at the office.
