Alexander joined McLean McKenzie & Topfer in January 2016 and works in the litigation team. He graduation from UTas with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Public Policy and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in 2013. He was admitted to practice in August 2014 and began his career as a graduate lawyer at Butler McIntyre & Butler in general litigation. In 2021, Alex became one of the Directors of MM&T.

Alexander is actively involved in the Tasmanian community and is a Director of the RACT Group and RACT Insurance.
He is a former President of the Tasmanian Council of Social Services (TasCOSS) and former member of the Tasmanian Community Fund Board. He was previously President of the North West Young Lawyers Committee and was recognised as Tasmania’s Young Lawyer of the Year in 2017.
When not in the office, Alexander enjoys cycling along the North West Coast, sailing, bushwalking, and relaxing at Sisters Beach with his partner, their daughter, their dog Pudding, and friends and family.
